TEEN OVERVIEW: Killer T starts off brilliantly, with a stunning story, perfectly set up to escalate into an insane plot. However, for whatever reason, Muchamore decided to write Killer T in a slightly ‘disjointed’ manner. Bounding forward in time, on occasion, meaning we lose track of what’s going on in the book and the book’s flow. Rather than being about it’s characters’ journey, Killer T is more about the concept of Gene editing. Great idea, however in my opinion, lacking slightly in it’s implementation. TEEN RATING: Nyxia Unleashed picks up right where its predecessor left of. Full of thrill and adventure, Nyxia Unleashed is just as exciting as the first book in the series. It is an exhibition of Scott Reintgen’s phenomenal writing skills and an ability to create a fictional story that seems all too real. Young adult science fiction at its finest, Nyxia Unleashed is a must read for fans of the genre. Continue reading Nyxia Unleashed

TEEN RATING: Tom Hanks’, unique and comedic approach to writing fiction stands alongside his greatest films as testament to what he has accomplished in his career. Uncommon Type is a great read for when you’re too busy to be fully immersed in a long fictional novel. It covers many genres, each with a unique twist. A must read for summer holidays or even cosied up indoors during the winter! This novel has something for everyone. 14+ 4.1/5 Continue reading Uncommon Type
TEEN RATING: A compulsive book, Artemis will be devoured by fans of Science Fiction. Tense, riveting and enthralling, I will most likely find myself re-reading this book in the years to come. 4.7/5 14+ Continue reading Artemis
TEEN RATING: The Loneliest Girl in The Universe starts of as a promising novel but slowly fades into an uneasy story. Although a Sci-Fi book, the ending seems improbable and far-fetched. Although quite good at points, I definitely won’t be re-reading this anytime soon. 2.7/5 13+ Continue reading The Loneliest Girl in The Universe
