From the genius that is Derek Landy comes the second book in the demon road trilogy.
After the events that transpired in New York, Milo and Amber are on the run from the hounds of hell, a demonic group of bikers. Sent after them by the shining demon because Amber cheated him. Now following the advice of serial killer Gregory Buxom they are on their way to the town of Desolation in Alaska. Desolation is rumoured to be the only place on earth that the hounds can not enter. When Milo and Amber arrive at Desolation they realise that Desolation has a secret and that for one night every year all hell breaks loose.
This book is absolutely infallible. Derek Landy is in my opinion the greatest writer alive today. No matter what the book is he commands, every word with his unique combination of black humour and wit. I loved this book, it is a worthy successor to the first demon road book and I impatiently await the third and final instalment of this amazing series.
Teen Rating: An amazing book that demands your attention from start to finish. 5/5 13+
