Moone Boy-The Fish Detective by Chris O’Dowd and Nick V. Murphy.
The sequel to ‘Moone Boy-The Blunder Years’, I didn’t thing anyone could do it but they easily pulled it off, it’s even funnier than it’s predecessor! Christmas is coming soon and the Moone’s Christmas budget isn’t quite as big as they would like, so Martin and his trusty wingman are on the case. It’s time for Martin to find a job, the only problem is there’s loads of problems. Number one on that list is Martin is still in school, and so has a busy scheduled as it is. Problem number two is it’s the middle of a recession and jobs are quite sparse right now. Problem three is that because jobs are sparse there’s lots of people without jobs, so there’s lots of choice and if there’s lots of choice the someone’s hardly going to pick a twelve year old idiot who still has an imaginary friend as his mate.
Teen Rating: Funnier than funny. 12+ . 4/5 .
